Educational Qualification : Any graduate or last-year students of graduation can apply for the examination.

HAS Pattern for the Preliminary Examination

The prelims test has two papers of objective type (MCQs) on the following topics:

• Paper-I: General Studies (100 questions carrying a total weightage of 200 marks)

• Paper-II: Aptitude Test (100 questions carrying a total weightage of 200 marks)

There is a negative marking too, according to which, you will get a one-third negative mark for every wrong attempt.

Age Limit:

The candidates must fall under the age group of 21-35 years which means those who are younger than 21 and older than 35 will not be able to appear for this examination. However, candidates from OBC, SC/ST, PWD categories, and those who belong to the daily freedom fighters of Himachal Pradesh get an age relaxation of 5 years.
