HP TET exam pattern subject-wise:
Exam Mode- Offline
Total Questions – 150
Total Marks – 150
Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking applicable in the exam
The minimum marks required to qualify for the exam are 90 i.e 60%.

The HP TET Exam Pattern for TGT (Arts) comprises a total of 150 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying one mark. The exam is organized into four main sections, each designed to evaluate candidates’ knowledge in key areas related to teaching. The sections include:
Child Psychology and Development, Pedagogy, and Teaching-Learning Processes (30 questions)
General Awareness including topics on Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs, and Environmental Studies (30 questions),
English Literature and Grammar (30 questions)
Social Studies (60 questions).
